About Clayton Mackay

Career veterinarian, twenty two (22) years Companion Animal Practice Owner of a multi-doctor generalist/specialty practice. Four (4) years in Academic administration of a veterinary teaching hospital and thirteen (13) years in industry.Forty eight (48) years of involvement in organized veterinary medicine, Past President of the American Animal Hospital Association, Ontario Veterinary Medical Association, College of Veterinarians of Ontario, Toronto Academy of Veterinary Medicine and the Society of Veterinary Medical Ethics. Want to continue to increase the visibility and importance of veterinary medicine to the public. Retired from Director of Veterinary Affairs, Hill’s Pet Nutrition Canada, Inc., Dec 31, 2009.
